Zodiark is a heavy, melodic and progressive metal project, hailing from Reading - deep in the darkest depths of Southern England. Forming as a band in early 2008, the trio of old school pals Simon Robins, Christian Sturgess and Luke Highet entered Simon's home studio in the summer to record some demos before writing and recording an album's worth of brutal, yet melodic heavy metal with progressive overtones over the next year...
After some well-received instrumental mixes of these songs in late 2009/early 2010, Kurt Jones (formerly of Nya) and Matt Kaye (formerly of Biolith) joined as vocalist and drummer respectively to complete the line up. In March 2010, the band released their self produced debut album 'Thoughtforms' in early December '10 as a download only release. Look out for gigs and a summer tour in 2011!
