The Reckoning won't mess you about... there's no rich parents funding an over produced, slick demo.. what you see is what you get: Raw passion, instruments beaten to within an inch of their lives, a refusal to acknowledge trends – even from their own metal brethren... and music carried through with nothing but utter conviction!REAL Led Zeppelin weren't polished, Black Sabbath weren't hip, Judas Priest weren't a boy band and Iron Maiden weren't clad in expensive catalogue wear... this is what real rock and metal bands looked like, sounded like.. and smelt like.

The Reckoning is no exception. Prepared to die but far from gazing at the past to find themselves.The Reckoning have always known what path to take... their own.

Since 2004, guitar slinger and founder, Ben Higgins, has been chiselling out a new anthemic niche in Metal guitar playing, whilst fighting through various hopefuls and pretenders until he met his kindred spirits in the men who stand by him now... every one of them prepared to take The Reckoning to every corner of the globe or die trying. When the members of The Reckoning pick up their instruments together, what happens is the kind of chemistry not seen since the days of Zeppelin, Sabbath & Priest, something that cannot be bought or faked.

They don't live within minutes of each other in the same town either... travelling 70 miles or 140 miles doesn't stand in the way of the next Metal band in line to the throne !
