Synesthesia is a condition by which a person literally sees sound. For these people, music takes on colors and shapes. Synesthesia is also a fierce ecclectic Heavy Metal band from the dark mountains of Pennsylvania. They incorporate Thrash, Power, Punk and melodic sensibility to bring you the hardest, fastest, nastiest metal they can bring you.

Synesthesia is the brain child of Western PA native Tony Mollick (One Night Stand, Groove Junkies, Tony Mollick Project), West Virginia native Shawn King (Segments of the Spine, Ki.) and also Lyicist/Musician John McGirk (Tony Mollick Project Bassist). The writing for the first demos began in the fall of 2008. The demos were finished in the spring of 2009 and in September 2009 pre production for the first Synesthesia CD began at Bucholtz Productions in Latrobe PA. In pursuit of a great sound, Scott Passaro signed as our tone specialist. What Scotty does with guitar sounds is incredible. He brought in guitars, Tony brought in guitars, Scott brought his rig in and what we got is thick, heavy and nasty. Scott is appearing on the CD now as a guitarist on a few tracks and may begin writing with us as well. Erich Bucholtz, our engineer, has quickly become an important member of the Synesthesia family and we thank him for his part in this insanity! The last link in the chain needed to be a strong one and a strong one was secured indeed. Singer Timmy Aymar, an old friend from the Pittsburgh music scene, was moving back to Pitt from Florids in the spring of 2010. Tim is a Heavy Metal veteran and a perfect fit for our music. I know what he will do will seperate heads. Here's to the future!
