What do you get when you cross 1) The drum tech & guitar tech for punk band the Damned 2) A veteran tour manager for the bands Shadows Fall , God Forbid , Stampin' Ground, Thursday & Atreyu 3) Drizzle a splattering of various late 90's UK punk rock band members from GASH , 4FT Fingers & Whippasnappa 4) Finally add a totally d.i.y ethic throughout the band, producing most of their own artwork, posters, merchandise, recording and putting out all their own material so far. Puzzled? Well the molotov cocktail you end up with burning on your face and in your ears is called REIGN OF FURY
The band look like they have just walked in off the street from the pub, than just another long haired over produced, stylised hyped up metal band on a trendy label, with predictable poses but lacking the essential ingredient, SONGS!! Some have said they are the NOFX of metal, utterly brilliant involving well crafted music but with the comedy and drinking never far away, and thats just the live show. And when you get the music on a cd it speaks volumes when cranked up. It's an explosive melodic metal mix, tinged with classic thrash moments ala maiden / early Metallica / Megadeth / Testament / Annhilator / Anthrax you get the picture. Nothing new, more like an old friend has returned from a not too distant past and would get on well with the rest of your classic metal collection \m/ Horns High !! Drummer, Magic Dave, explains that REIGN OF FURY was born out of frustration, anger and the love of 80's Thrash and Metal, "we are here with World Domination in Mind". The band is made up of five guys who met each on the U.K. Punk Rock scene over the last 12 years. With ex members of 4ft Fingers, Gash and Whippasnappa, we have plenty of experience to get the job done.
Reign Of Fury was formed purely with one aim: To get out there and bring real Metal back into peoples lives. With thunderous drums,memorable riffs,guitar hero solos,gut wrenching bass lines and classic to be melody lines, how could Reign of Fury fail??? Have a listen and make up your own mind.
