Messiah of None originally formed in the summer of 2006 with DJ on bass under the name of "Autumn Scars", but after a few months or so of jamming with countless guitarists, DJ wasn't feeling the vibe and decided to leave. In January 2007, DJ returned, but this time as the singer and changed the name to Messiah of None. For most of 2008 Messiah played many well recieved live shows including a support slot for welsh reggae-metallers Skindred, the band parted ways with guitarist Jack and downsized to a 4 piece with DJ taking on guitar as well as the vocals. Since it's incarnation, Messiah of None set out from the beginning to be original, to write honest heavy music and not wanting to be pigeon-holed. So by mixing thrash and staccato metal with old school doom and the odd bit of death metal here n' there (basically not being afraid of mixing style's that are usually genres apart) this is what Messiah Of None are.
