Memories in Torment were formed in July 2010. Drawing on a massive influence of styles, from black metal, grindcore, death metal, thrash and power metal, the band quickly found their sound. Live, the band like to pride thereselves in putting on a show for those watching, so all the shows are very energetic with a lot of crowd interaction. Something that is gathering the band an impressive reputation. From beatdowns so heavy they could crack the earth, through to high speed full on assault sections, the sound constantly changes. With drums pounding, and with bass lines which verge on the insane, the music is pushed further by the ferocious twin guitar attack. Add on top of this vocals that range from death growls through black metal screams and on to melodic clean sections, there is something in the sound to attract everybody. New material is appearing to be more twisted and constantly evolving. Like a neurotic illness that changes the mental state in the blink of an eye.
