Formed in December 2009, Ex Inferis are an act with a rapidly expanding fanbase within the underground music scene. They plan to continue their work to reach their set goal of becoming one of the UK’s Premier Metal acts.
Within their first year they enjoyed the success of reaching the finals of Bloodstock Festival Metal 2 Masses, Cornwall & Devon Competition, semi finals of Party in The Park battle of bands, festival dates around the UK, numerous shows within the south west of England, a UK tour, management offers and a first EP release entitled, ‘Novus Ordo Seclorum’. (New Order of the Ages) Ex Inferis have done all they can to avoid being put within a genre and instead create their own. They have done this by mixing Technical Death Metal and Black Metal with Jazz, Groove and Experimental aspects. With such a wide variety of musical influences including Fantomas, Deicide, Dream Theatre and Zorn, for Ex Inferis with each member bringing something different to the other, creating this sound has been more of an easy task instead of a tedious mission. The Lyrical side of things has also become one of the intriguing parts of Ex Inferis. Rebelling against the Illuminati, Global Governance New World Order (NWO), Bilderberg and other secret societies as well as being proud followers of the Zeitgeist Movement, Ex Inferis are a unique act and a force to be reckoned with. The future for Ex Inferis is sure to be a bright one with 2011 alone bringing a debut full length album release, UK tour, Festival appearances and talks of European dates towards the end of 2011, aswell as 2011 bringing already arranged dates with bands such as Ted Maul, Desecration, Fleshrot and many more.
