Dark Calling are a new, young and original band from the Poole and Bournemouth area. After having gone through many changes in style and members, we have settled as a band and are ready to become a big band in the local scene.
Our songs are original, with all of the band having songs of their own, making each song different and our sound varied. DC has influences from wide across the musical spectrum and we try and incorporate many different ideas into our music.
After starting to get gigging in 2010 and even organising a gig at Champions, Bournemouth we are set to get playing around the local area and perhaps beyond in 2011. We have recently finished the recording of our debut EP: 'Broken Romance', containing four of our best songs, which was recorded at Malvern Road Studios. This EP will be released in the near future and we have high hopes for its success.
