Formed accidently in early 2010 out of a combination of sheer boredom and ketamin, Daniella Westbrook are a guttural jizz-load of hard punk, metal, grindcore and general noise. Their simple formula of 1 guitar + drums + shouting produces a sound large enough to fill a coke-ridden whore’s massive echoey mono-nostril. Ruthless in their rejection of the over-produced toss that most bands aspire to create, Dani W have taken the punk ethic to it’s pinnacle. Rejecting notions of poeticism and musical quality the band refuse to apply a formula to their work by writing songs and literally smash together their otherwise unplanned sets during sound check. Although Dani have experimented with allsorts of musical substances, their usual sound is pure angry rage augmented by screaming, shouting and general nonsensical wittering delivered by dual vocalists Jack Skum (formerly of Warminster-based SkumKiller) and Nader Khouri. If music were a sea of shit, these boys would fucking drown you in it.
