Castodium was formed in late 2007 by Dom, Dave and Alex. Through several line up changes they have arrived at their current line up of Dom (Guitar), Dave (Bass), Alex Drums) and Ryan (Vocals).
They started their gigging journey in September 2008 and from there have had a string of successful gigs all around the South of England playing with such bands as; No Consequence, Vallenbrosa, Malefice, TesseracT, Sylosis, Monuments and have much more to come!
Their self titled E.P is out and can be purchased for £3 from any member of the band at any gig and from Astra in Alton. They are growing as a band music wise and confidence wise in every gig they play. They are hoping to start heading to bigger things in 2010.
Their music is distinctly thrash/speed metal but with some progressive and hardcore influences. With an energetic live show and some Brutal riffs they are not to be underestimated or missed!
