Aunt Stella's Ashes is a Hard-Rock Band from Deland Florida. Aunt Stella’s Ashes has been falling in place over the past year. Formed from former Power Kor( Deka records) members Tim Schichtel, Pat Schiavo, and Kevin Smerdon. Tim, Pat, and Kevin sought out members to pursue a darker more melodic music than what they could currently achieve without a change in lineup. Scott Peace joined the band in the studio during the summer of 2010, and finally in Fall of 2010 Mike Mancuso joined the band completing the lineup. The group is currently recording a full length independent release . The band blends a heavy, dark, groove-oriented style with noticeably metal roots.
