Aces Wild are a 5 piece band based in London. They have a great desire and determination to crack open the UK Rock Scene with something new and unique. Formed in Poplar, East London in 2002 as Crimson Rose by current members Duane Taylor (Guitar), Ben Cannon (Vocals) and Colin Franks (Guitar), they went on to become Airborn in 2006 and finally found success under the name Aces Wild in 2008, following the arrivals of Shane Ward (Bass) and Tom Wilkinson (Drums). After putting all the pieces together, with the addition of their Bassist and Drummer, Aces Wild have truly got going, and have started looking for bigger and better shows in the London Area.
After playing venues including: The Unicorn, The Water Rats, The Bull and Gate, The Purple Turtle, The Vibe Bar, The New Cross Inn and most recently The Bridgehouse 2. Aces Wild recorded their first demo tracks. With these they hope to strike out further into the UK Rock Scene. With the help of very close friends and family Aces Wild will continue to thrive and make good progress for years to come. With a growing fanbase, there is absolutley no reason why they can't fufill their potential to become the UK's next big breakthrough band.
Following the departure of Tom in August, Aces Wild have been searching for a replacement. They are looking to get back on the gig scene in Early 2011, and will hopefully be recording some more tracks to add to the debut EP 'The Cards On The Table' recorded in July 2009.
